You will be responsible for producing clean, high-quality actuarial analyses with an eye towards the future. This includes, but is not limited to, actuarial modeling, managing multiple projects, communicating with clients, and working as an integral part of a broader Aon team. This role is client-facing, so the ability to communicate and build relationships is important.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as lead consultant for high profile and large accounts.
- Have primary project responsibility for actuarial reserve analyses, risk allocation analyses, captive feasibility studies, insurance program pricing studies (including rating plans), and loss forecasting, variability analyses, simulations and cost of risk allocation.
- Sign actuarial letters of opinions.
- Build actuarial models when data is limited.
- Provide peer review to ensure applicable standards of practice are adhered to.
- Identify and build relationships with broader Aon team and client contacts.
- Prepare and present proposals in response to RFP's without substantial oversight.
- Create and/or improve methodology, products, and operational procedures.
- Ensure that the Aon work product is of high quality, adheres to all relevant actuarial standards, and is provided in a timely manner.
- Develop strategies for actuarial and analytical consulting business.
- Seek and actively participate in sales calls and presentations.
- Provide the leadership necessary to create and foster a team culture across all Aon teams.
- Anticipate client questions and prepare solutions to accomplish goals.
- Assist in the overall team effort for knowledge and best practices to be disseminated throughout the practice.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Education / Experience
- Attained ACAS or FCAS designation
- Maintains continuing education requirements.
- Meets requirements to sign actuarial opinion (ACAS + Exam 7).
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of technology tools for actuarial analysis, technology applications and data utilization for actuarial functions.
- Commitment to client service and business ethics.
Skills
- Strong abilities with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience with programming languages (R, Python, SQL) and @Risk are a plus, but not required.
- Ability to operate effectively through challenging or ambiguous situations.
- Good communication skills, both oral and in writing.
- Good organization and time management skills; ability to work independently.
- Close attention to detail.
- Ability to write complex reports and business correspondence.
- Excellent knowledge of actuarial methodologies and principles.
- Excellent knowledge of alternative risk financing alternatives, insurance coverage options and major program designs.
- Commitment to client service and business ethics.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is [$190,000-$270,000] annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
