    • Licensed recruiters can view these anonymised profiles and pay to unlock your full contact information if they believe you may be a good fit for their open positions.
    • Once unlocked, recruiters gain access to your name, email address, and any other contact details you have provided.
  4. Communications: To send you service-related messages, updates, or notifications about your account, as well as marketing messages if you have opted in.
  5. Service Improvements: To analyse usage trends and user feedback to improve our platform and services.
  6. Marketing: With your consent, we may send you updates about new services or features.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties, except in the following situations:

    • Unlocking Contact Details: If a recruiter decides your background fits their hiring needs, they may pay to unlock your personal information. Once unlocked, your contact details become visible to that recruiter, who may then contact you directly.
    • Limited Use: We contractually require our recruiter partners to use your unlocked information solely for recruitment purposes. However, once your information is unlocked, Acturhire is not responsible for how the recruiter manages or processes it, beyond the contractual obligations we set.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

  • Improve user experience
  • Analyse website traffic
  • Provide personalised services

Despite these safeguards, once your data is unlocked and provided to a recruiter, we cannot fully control how that recruiter uses your information.

6. Data Retention

We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we delete your personal data, please contact us at jobs@acturhire.com.

  • Candidate Profiles in the Recruiter Portal: We store anonymised candidate profiles for as long as you remain opted in to the recruiter portal. If you revoke your consent or request deletion, we will remove or anonymise your data from the recruiter portal within a reasonable timeframe.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

  1. Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  2. Correction: You have the right to request correction of any incorrect or incomplete personal information.
