Actuary Internship Program
The Role: Seeking students studying actuarial science or quantitative finance who are analytical and enjoy problem solving. The Intern Consultant works with Senior Associates Consultants to provide advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with an initial emphasis in defined benefit plans. We work with you to develop their financial, business, and consultative skills. Your career path could range from a pension actuarial focus to a broad client strategy role, guiding finance, and human resource executives regarding their retirement, health and welfare, and employee communication needs.

- Mathematics, Actuarial Science or quantitative subject major preferred
- Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, along with analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations while being inventive and prioritizing responsibilities

At Fidelity, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we're calling "Dynamic Working". Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity office at least two weeks a month, for 5 consecutive days, on a rotation of every other week.
