The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.
CNO Financial Group is hiring a Sr Actuary, Health Valuation Analytics to be responsible for supporting Valuation related Analytics and Controls for all health products for CNO. This includes involvement in collaborating with all Health valuation teams.
This is your opportunity to provide analytics and valuation knowledge to various departments across the enterprise.
As a Sr Actuary, Health Valuation Analytics, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting Health valuation analytics efforts.
Developing metrics for better understanding of CNO’s health lines of business GAAP and Statutory income.
Preparing, interpreting, and presenting data for presentation to senior audiences.
Developing and publishing reports and studies.
Supporting analysis for developing effective controls in ensuring the accuracy of the results presented to external and internal audiences.
Awareness and application of current regulatory developments and standard actuarial practices.
Providing valuation and modeling expertise to business segments and other internal customers.
May supervise actuarial staff, including establishing goals, development plans, performance, and salary management.
Interacting with outside parties, including auditors, external partners, etc.
The Sr Actuary, Health Valuation Analytics position is well-suited for you if you:
Demonstrate solid understanding of health products’ valuation reporting systems, modeling, and regulations.
Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills.
Are a strong problem solver and demonstrate high attention to detail.
What you’ll need:
ASA designation from the Society of Actuaries
Five years of related work experience.
What will set you apart:
FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries.
MAAA designation preferred.
Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
