Fortitude Re is establishing an internal actuarial consulting team to lead strategic initiatives at the company including regulatory and financial reporting changes, capital optimization and new business onboarding. The Senior Associate will work on high profile projects under tight timelines while handling multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience with modeling, project planning and project delivery to senior stakeholders. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with numerous stakeholders. This role will be based in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule.

What You Will Do:
- Function as a critical member of the Fortitude Actuarial Consulting Team (FACT)
- Support high priority projects end-to-end, including scoping, project planning, execution, delivery of results to senior stakeholders, and hand-off of applicable models/tools to business units
- Support new business onboarding, impact testing of regulatory changes (BMA), implementation of new financial reporting regime (LDTI), capital optimization and internal capital model build
What You Will Have:
- 3 plus years of experience in an actuarial role
- An Associate or Fellow of the SOA, CAS, or IFoA
- An undergraduate degree with preference for mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics, or other quantitative fields
- Preferred candidate will have a consulting background or have worked on numerous project-based assignments within an (re)insurer
- Experience with end-to-end project execution, modeling, and analytics; ability to prioritize projects and communicate timelines to stakeholders under fluid situations
- Product knowledge and exposure to regulatory and financial reporting regimes (US Stat/RBC, BMA, LDTI)
