The US Funded PRT Pricing team operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, customer and deal focused environment. This position plays a primary role in the execution of transaction pricing and infrastructure development for Prudential’s rapidly growing US Pension Risk Transfer business.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:
• Price complex Pension Risk Transfer transactions. This work would involve the creation of liability cashflows and reserves, ALM modeling, and financial statement analysis
• Analyze population and contract specific data to determine mortality and other demographic assumptions used in Funded transactions
• Execute modeling and generate analysis of financial projections to drive pricing recommendations
• Contribute to improving existing processes by leveraging best practices and various platforms including Excel, Python & SQL
• Work with a broad group of actuarial and business partners in a fast-paced, customer and deal-focused environment


What you’ll need:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other STEM field
• Minimum of 2 years of actuarial experience with a minimum of 3 actuarial exams passed, LTAM is preferred
• Strong technical skills to understand complex quantitative concepts and financial projection model
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office-suite software
• Strong working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, C#, SQL, VBA preferred
• Understanding of Life/Annuity products, capital markets, and pension plans
• Highly motivated, innovative problem solver and conceptual thinker that excels in collaborative work environments
• Good verbal & written communication skills, particularly in explaining technical results to non-technical audiences
• Actuarial exam support provided.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $97,300.00 to $144,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
