What the day will look like:

This role is for a hands-on individual with a strong analytics background, ideally in reinsurance or consulting. The individual will work in Aon reinsurance's casualty and specialty analytics team to deliver value added reinsurance solutions to our clients. Your work will support both established and emerging solution lines, working in a collaborative environment with other Aon colleagues. You will also perform market research and industry studies.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships to act as a trusted advisor to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to and lead delivery of complex actuarial analytics, while managing client relationships, projects, and deliverables.
  • Mentor junior personnel and foster a culture of development and learning to nurture talent.
  • Deliver client presentations and build personal and technical expertise to become recognized as an expert inside and outside of Aon.
  • Provide expertise to help financial institutions manage risks.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Strong proficiency in R, Python (or similar programming language), and MS Office suite, particularly Excel/VBA and PowerPoint
  • Casualty or specialty analytics experience preferred, but we are also open to candidates with a strong analytics background in other pricing areas, or consulting experience
  • Strong ability to understand and perform mathematical and statistical calculations
  • 5+ Actuarial Exams passed, or an advanced degree in a related field, or CFA, or 4+ years of related working experience
  • Education: Minimum requirement is Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Math, Computer Science, or other related degrees.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $130k-$165k annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of State/Region. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
