In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies for our insurance products, ensuring they are competitive, profitable, and aligned with our business objectives. We Are Looking For Someone With

  • University Degree majoring in Mathematics, Statistic or Actuarial Science.
  • Experience with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary as a fellow of an actuarial organization (PAI, SOA, IAA, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of actuarial practice and pricing strategy, especially for Individual products.
  • Experience with modeling in actuarial software is an asset (e.g. Moody's Axis, Prophet, etc)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must perform well under pressure and in a changing environment.
  • Having good analytical thinking and project management skills
  • Effective command of English, both spoken and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to build and manage relationships with the key internal stakeholders
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as a Actuarial especially pricing
  • Must be self-driven and highly motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • A vested interest in keeping abreast of the industry and market trends
  • Strong analytical, inter-personal, communication (verbal and written) and business development/sales skills.
  • Strong networking, innovative and strategic skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Good and presentation skills

On The Job You Will

• Develop and implement pricing strategies for new and existing products, ensuring profitability and market competitiveness.

• Conduct thorough analysis and modeling to support pricing decisions and product design.

• Collaborate with Product Development, Distribution, and Operations teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on actuarial analysis to be part of the critical business decision making
