How you'll contribute:

As an IT Solution Coordinator - Actuarial Applications, you'll be responsible for supporting the management of a portfolio of Actuarial technology platforms which comprises Prophet applications on Prophet Managed Cloud Service (PMCS). This role collaborates with the Actuarial Modeling, business valuation, business analyst and data team in order to serve as a conduit between business partners, various technology stakeholders and the FIS PMCS managed service team.

In this role, you'll get to:
  • Manage delivery of Actuarial IT initiatives through end-to-end planning of requirement development, design, development, testing, and production cutover.
  • Leverage IT tools such as Jira to manage work effort across IT teams.
  • Produce quality status reports for executive leadership.
  • Produce superior communication and documentation to support enterprise technology solutions.
  • Leads project delivery team and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Ensure management against all processes and stage gates.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with all business, technology partners and third-party vendors in assigned enterprise space.
  • Determines and documents program and project scope and deliverables based on documentation and requirements supplied.
  • Communicates with assigned resources to ensure on-time completion of planned tasks.
  • Resolves project issues through direct action or escalation when appropriate.
  • Implements risk management standards into the program to ensure all risks are identified and properly mitigated.
  • Demonstrates a high-level knowledge of the architecture, data, and system dependencies that allows effective risk identification, mitigation and project management throughout the working team.


We're looking for people who have:
  • IT project management and business (systems) analysis experience (6+ years).
  • Prior experience managing complex Actuarial systems and Prophet experience a plus.
  • Life / Annuity insurance experience or financial services experience a plus.
  • Experience assessing and improving business processes, systems, and associated technologies
  • Excellent oral communication, written communication, executive presentation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to successfully interface and partner with all roles of technical solution stand up projects and programs.
  • Self-driven ability to understand, uncover, resolve and recommend options to solve complex business issues with technology solutions.
  • Software development methodology experience (agile and/or waterfall).
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
  • In-depth understanding of application development and/or technical acumen.
  • Developed understanding of enterprise technical landscape (insurance background a plus).
  • Passion for innovation and dedication to enterprise technology development objectives.
  • Flexible team player with proven track record driving and delivering successful technology solutions.
