This position will be hybrid with and commuting to Eden Prairie, MN or NYC office 2 days/week on average.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and preparation of regulatory reports
- Perform quantitative analysis on healthcare membership and claims data
- Design, support, and enhance comprehensive data cleaning, standardization, and validation programs
- Maintain and improve robust quality assurance process to ensure accuracy
- Design and support ad-hoc analytics where needed
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with our broader teams

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience defining business requirements and/or maintaining project or program artifacts
- 2+ years of Business/Data Analysis/Data Science experience
- 2+ years of experience in program in SAS, SQL or Python
- Experience in working with healthcare administrative data
- Experience in large file transfers and/or manipulations
- Experience in handling various file formats (sas, csv, xls, delimited text files)
- Experience in dealing with healthcare claims data
- Located near Eden Prairie, MN or NYC and able to commute to office as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
- Experience in Azure Cloud
- Experience in using various UHC and/or Optum proprietary and public data sources
- Understand components for quality measures, trend analytics and key metrics for quantitative results
- Ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively

New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
