Equitable is looking for Employee Benefits Valuation Manager – Actuarial, to join our team. Our Employee Benefits (Group Insurance) line of business started in 2015 and is one of the fastest growing businesses that now includes Long Term and Short Term Disability, Paid Family Leave, Group Life and Waiver of Premium, Hospital Indemnity, Accident, Critical Illness, Vision, and Dental. This position will perform Employee Benefits GAAP and Statutory valuation. It will also be a key contributor to assumption setting, model development, and regulatory filings.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Perform GAAP and Statutory valuation on quarterly basis
- Perform experience studies and set valuation assumptions to reflect emerging experience
- Maintain actuarial models and perform model development
- Prepare Statutory Year-End filings
The base salary range for this position is $117,000 - $170,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
