Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.

As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What is the Sophomore Actuarial Career Discovery Program?

College Sophomores have the unique opportunity to connect with an advisor working in the actuarial field at Aon to learn more about a consulting career from one of our solutions team from either Health, Wealth, Risk, or Reinsurance and practice real-world scenarios during the discovery program.

How this opportunity is different

This mentorship opportunity gives students considering a career in actuarial science to connect with professionals and peers throughout this virtual program. This program is designed for sophomores and used as a direct pipeline to our Summer 2026 Actuarial Intern opportunities!

At the end of the program, selected mentees will have the opportunity to be fast-tracked to a final round interview for consideration for our intern program. While the mentor program is virtual, candidates should select location preferences that are aligned with their interests for Summer 2026 internship opportunities.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

We're looking for collaborators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, excellent teammates, effective communicators, relationship builders and future leaders.

Education: Preferred Majors in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related. All majors welcome to apply.

Applicants for this event should be current sophomores, graduating between December 2026 - June 2027, with a GPA of 3.0 and above
