During your first year of employment, you will participate in the Graduate Program which is a 12-month professional development program designed to attract, develop and retain the next generation of insurance professionals. The Program will support your growth as a well-rounded technical expert and potential future leader at Allianz Commercial.

We are seeking aspiring Actuarial Science Bachelor's graduates, or Mathematics/Statistics Bachelor's graduates with a focus on Actuarial Analyses, to join our fast-paced, customer-focused Finance Team.

The ideal candidate will be an intellectually curious, team-minded contributor. You will spend the first 12 months you are with us learning alongside a team of senior and experienced staff, participating in strategic projects, and grasping the basics of Finance and Actuarial Analyses in a corporate setting. As an Associate Graduate - Actuarial you will benefit from:
  • In-depth insurance knowledge through rotations across core Finance functions including Planning & Performance Management, Accounting/Financial Reporting, Treasury, Risk Management and Actuarial.
  • Performing a combination of both independent and team-driven tasks that may be regular, (e.g., monthly or quarterly) or project/ad hoc in nature.
  • On the job learning on efforts and deliverables that directly and influentially contribute to the Finance function's success on a team and departmental level.
  • Employment begins mid-July 2024 and the Program starts in early August of 2024
  • Time is split time between structured learning curriculum and on the job experiential learning
  • Opportunity to gain a broad base of industry knowledge, function specific expertise as well as personal and professional skills development
  • Ability to network with senior leaders, technical experts, customers, as well as other graduates and early career program participants globally

What You'll Bring To The Role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial or Mathematics/Statistics Bachelor's graduates with a focus on Actuarial Analyses
  • Relevant work experience: e.g., 1-2 years prior experience gained through internships, academic projects or employment
  • Passed at least two Actuarial exams (CAS or SOA)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Degree path focus, mindset and/or aptitude for insurance
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, peers, managers and customers
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical skills as well as the ability to grasp and solve complex issues and present solutions to others effectively
  • Software proficiency: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in statistical/programming tools (e.g., R, Alteryx, Tableau, Python) is a plus


This job pays a salary $42800 - $73371 per year. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.
