Job Description and Responsibilities:

The position will be in the ALM Projections Team and the individual will support asset modeling for asset adequacy testing and other statutory production and internal capital management requirements using the Moody’s AXIS platform. Work will involve direct exposure to the modeling of assets and associated ALM processes including supporting modeling methodology updates through developing asset data transformation process in SQL and testing in AXIS.

The candidate responsibilities include:
o Generate asset inputs and projections for multiple reporting and internal management purposes including Statutory Asset Adequacy Testing (AAT) to assist the Appointed Actuary to form an Opinion, PBR, Economic Capital, required capital analysis, and enterprise risk management.
o Assist in creation of portions of Actuarial memorandums related to assets.
o Develop and test enhancements to asset production process including updates to how the assets are modeled and refinements to the process itself to make it faster and more streamlined.
o Document end to end asset production process in a centralized location.
o Potential to assist in other facets of ALM production.
o Collaborate with other members of the ALM Projections group, as well as Valuation, Model Risk Management, CIO etc.
- Potential to manage one or more EXL associates.
o Delivery of timely and accurate production results.

Job Requirements:
o Experience with asset modeling for Asset Adequacy Testing and/or experience in a related area is preferred.
o Self-motivated individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
o Knowledge of Investments (mainly Fixed Income assets) is preferred.
o Experience with actuarial modeling software (Moody’s AXIS, MG ALFA, Prophet, etc) is preferred.
o Strong technical skills required to efficiently analyze large amounts of data (Excel, VBA, SQL, Python).
o Professional designation (ASA or CFA) or progress towards, is preferred.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $111,400.00 to $165,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
