We are seeking an Analyst on the Actuarial & Analytics Track in New York, NY

ABOUT AXIS ACADEMY

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: BRIEF DESCRIPTION  
This two to three year rotational program will give recent graduates an opportunity to explore various business units across AXIS.  Analysts will receive on-the-job training and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects throughout their four rotations. The Program consists of three tracks:

Business & Product Track: focused on rotations through underwriting, claims, product, and other related groups
Actuarial & Analytics Track: focused on rotations through pricing, reserving, capital modeling, and other related groups
Finance Track: focused on rotations through tax, accounting, FP&A, and other related groups
Key elements of the program include:

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Recent undergraduate degree with at least 3 months of relevant internship or work experience in the (re)insurance industry
For the Actuarial & Analytics Track, we are seeking recent graduates who have a degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
Good communication (telephone, e-mail and interpersonal) skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Good working knowledge of software:  All Windows operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Positions are typically filled by our AXIS Academy interns. Any remaining positions will be filled via campus recruitment and referrals.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of 70k to 75k (NY).  The specific salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including the experience of the successful candidate and their work location.

In addition, all employees are eligible for competitive incentive targets, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
