As an ADP Assistant Actuary, you will be part of our Actuarial Development Program where you begin as a student that will rotate into various positions throughout the actuarial departments in order to gain a wide range of knowledge and experiences that can be leveraged throughout the Actuary's career. Although not every rotation path is the same for every student, common roles often include, but are not limited to, Valuation, Product Development, Asset-Liability Management, and Experience Analysis.

Your future team

You will be a member of the Life Cash Flow Testing team which is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Prophet models to produce CFT and ALM results for Corebridge Financial's Universal Life insurance products.

You will support our strategic business initiatives on model conversion as well as update assumptions and implement new products and features for the assist in model conversion efforts and maintenance of models already in production models for our Traditional Life products. The successful candidate for this role will also have the ability to develop solutions to complete model development, unit test and peer review model work, as well as work with model stakeholders business to analyze and explain model approaches, limitations and results.

The main responsibilities include:
  • Understand Life Cashflow testing models
  • Understand Life products, mainly Interest sensitive blocks
  • Oversee the setup and runs of Life Cash Flow Testing models
  • Analyze results, Identify issues, and come up with solutions
  • Identify and implement any process improvement ideas that can lead to efficient and error free delivery
  • Understanding the regulatory environment and other Standards required for Cashflow testing and other key actuarial functions
  • Model new products or processes or transitions such as reinsurance treaties in the model
  • Writing BRD's for the Model development team
  • Perform UAT for Life model conversion


Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative field
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries with goal of attaining FSA designation
  • Highly detailed oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Documenting and presenting model results of CFT attribution analysis and ad hoc model change
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • 5+ years of progressive actuarial experience
  • CFT or Valuation experience
  • Experience with Prophet, AXIS or other projections software - preferred
  • Knowledge of the life insurance products
  • A proven track record of performance in prior roles within the insurance industry

  • Demonstrated technology skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Access

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $103,000-$136,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
