As an ADP Assistant Actuary, you will be part of our Actuarial Development Program where you begin as a student that will rotate into various positions throughout the actuarial departments in order to gain a wide range of knowledge and experiences that can be leveraged throughout the Actuary's career. Although not every rotation path is the same for every student, common roles often include, but are not limited to, Valuation, Product Development, Asset-Liability Management, and Experience Analysis.

Corebridge Financial is a leading provider of a leading provider of Variable Annuities (VA) and Fixed Indexed Annuities (FIAs). Project Team is an increasing critical function for VA and FIA valuation team under the Individual Retirement and AIG Retirement Services (Group Retirement) businesses.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Support the new product feature implementation
• Perform single policy testing of new product coding in different valuation model
• Work closely with GAAP and Stat team lead and model developer
• Maintain the documentation of new product valuation package.
• Support LDTI GAAP financial reporting development in AON model
• Work closely with Market Risk Management to develop robust analytical platform to support the explanation of LDTI GAAP report
• Review and debug the model code and test/validate any model changes
• Ensure that development, validation, and user acceptance testing meet company standards for model governance and controls and that procedures are appropriately documented
• Assist with other ad-hoc valuation projects as well as requests from internal and external auditors, Enterprise Risk Management and model validation, and Chief Finance Actuary teams
• Support the broader GAAP and Statutory financial reporting teams.

What we are looking for

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative field
• 3+ years of life and annuity actuarial experience
• Experience with AON, AXIS, or other life and annuity actuarial software platforms
• Strong critical thinking skill and fast learner
• Highly detailed oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required and the ability to work independently and within a team are required.
• Enthusiasm for supporting Senior Management requests and improving financial reporting analysis and processes

Preferred

• Familiarity with life and annuity accounting guidance, including GAAP ASU 2018-12, and calculation methods for reserves and deferred acquisition costs
• Experience with Annuities products
• Experience with MicroStrategy or Tableau

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $90,000-$125,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
