As an ADP Actuarial Associate, you will be part of our Actuarial Development Program where you begin as a student that will rotate into various positions throughout the actuarial departments in order to gain a wide range of knowledge and experiences that can be leveraged throughout the Actuary's career. Although not every rotation path is the same for every student, common roles often include, but are not limited to, Valuation, Product Development, Asset-Liability Management, and Experience Analysis.
Your future team
This role will be a part of the Institutional Markets ("IM") Chief Finance Actuary ("CFA") team and will report to the Director of IM. The position will provide actuarial and finance support and have frequent interaction with other business units including Finance, Valuation, Pricing, Experience Studies, Modeling, and Asset-Liability Management.
The IM CFA team focuses on various products including Pension Risk Transfers, Structured Settlements, Guaranteed Investment Contracts, Corporate/Bank Owned Life Insurance, High Net Worth, and Stable Value Wraps. This is an excellent position to learn different aspects of a wide variety of IM products.
The key responsibilities include:
- Prepare meeting materials for quarterly IM business actuarial meetings
- Support development of new PRT cases including preparing business requirement documents and User Acceptance Testing ("UAT") for onboarding new PRT cases
- Support UAT of various inforce projection models
- Prepare actuarial budget and forecast projections for IM's product lines
- Support actuarial assumption unlocking, analysis, and documentation
- Support ad-hoc actuarial analysis

What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or other quantitative field
- Completion of three or more SOA exams and three VEEs
- 2+ years of actuarial work experience
- Highly detailed oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong knowledge of MS Office especially Access and Excel
- Programming skill in SAS, Visual Basic, SQL, or C++ is highly preferred
- Experience with modeling software is required
