Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include Actuarial / Financial analysis and oversight, project management and strategic communication for Medicare bid submission process. Other responsibilities include:
- Provide project management support of key deliverables and timelines to department leaders
- Facilitate discussions and routine meetings for various project initiatives, including outlining objectives, creating agendas and documenting notes/take-aways
- Consolidation, analysis and communication of key deliverables to Actuarial department leadership. Manage QA and deadlines with appropriate parties.
- Applying analytical methods through the use of mathematical and statistical models in bid modeling and financial analyses, etc.
- Completing ad hoc assessments and projects for corporate-wide or market-specific initiatives.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders from product, finance and other groups in the organization.
- Coordinate and participate in peer review of bid documentation and support in order to ensure compliance
- Manage tight deadlines for multiple competing priorities, scope, and converging opinions to solution in a timely manner.
- Manage 2+ team members
Qualifications:
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or other related field
- 6+ years of actuarial, data analytics or finance experience in healthcare industry
- ASA preferred
- Medicare knowledge, with specific acumen in Part C strongly preferred
- Experience leading a cross-functional team or process
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong mathematical, financial, statistical and technical skills
- Strong technical skills in Access, Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills; written/verbal proficiency
- Ability to identify problem areas and take initiative to implement solutions

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 129,200 - 215,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
