Responsible for program management of department projects, strategy and business case development, and implementation of new capabilities, recruitment, and process controls within Actuarial Product Development and Product Contract Group. Typical workload includes multiple highly visible projects involving various business areas that require you to take ownership and drive results. The program manager will have direct impact on both the short-term and long-term success of the Actuarial Product Development and Product Contract Group.

What you do:
• Own, direct and manage projects from beginning to end.
• Define project scope, success and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and key stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and issues, and devise mitigation and contingency plans.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements.
• Plan, schedule and track project milestones and deliverables.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project timeline.
• Develop detailed business project plans and schedules. Review with business partners and agree on commitment.
• Engage and inform management as needed and provide team with constructive feedback as it pertains to the overall development and implementation.
• Coach or mentor team members with respect to process improvements and efficiencies.

What you bring:
• 4 year degree required
• 4+ years' experience
• At least 2 years of project management and/or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field; PMP preferred
