Becoming a Technology Intern is a great way to enhance your business acumen and gain insight into our industry. Interns are placed into meaningful roles that have an immediate and integral impact on the business. The internship will be based in our Nashville, TN office and will run from June 2, 2025, through August 1, 2025. You must be available for all 9 weeks of the program.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable technology intern to support our Actuarial Applications team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with actuarial stakeholders and technical teams to develop solutions that are designed to meet both business and technical requirements.
What You Will Do:
• Work with data and application engineers to gather technical requirements and assist in designing data solutions that address actuarial business needs.
• Build data flows into and out of Actuarial modeling platforms.
• Ingest and analyze new/existing data sets and implement end-to-end data processing in the cloud.
• Prepare documentation of business and technical requirements and ensure clear communication between teams.
• Participate in business capability and process mapping sessions, ensuring alignment between business strategy and IT capabilities.
• Help develop dashboards and reports to analyze key business metrics and provide insights.
What You Will Have:
• Rising college senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to bridge the gap between business and IT.
• Understanding of solution design principles and business process modeling.
