Responsibilities

Perform department-specific duties and responsibilities in a training capacity.

  • Assists in creation of actuarial models.
  • Provide research and administrative assistance for special projects as assigned.
  • Present findings and make recommendations.
  • Perform work assignments in support of departmental goals.
  • Attend and participate in meetings at the invitation of leadership.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
  • Compiles analytical and statistical reports.
  • Reviews information for accuracy and reconciles data.
  • Conducts and synthesizes market research.

Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.

Additional Preferences

  • Progress towards (or completion of) Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or healthcare-related field is strongly preferred.
  • Successful completion of at least 1 SOA exam is strongly preferred.
  • Prior internship experience in actuarial or healthcare organization is preferred.
  • Potential opportunity to continue internship part-time during the school year.
