Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking an actuarial intern for our Life Product, Risk & Data Department. As part of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in the actuarial science field by working with team members on various projects.

This position is a 37.5 hour work week Monday through Friday during the summer's months. Work from home may be available two days a week once trained to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of our internal risk and governance tool
  • Assist with product testing
  • Create and maintain various reports within the department
  • Assist with competitive intelligence reporting
  • May be called upon to handle other duties as required to support Life Product, Risk & Data


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Mathematics, Finance, or Actuarial Science program
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel and Access skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Actuarial exam experience not required but preferred.
