National Interstate Insurance is looking for an Actuary Intern, part of our 2025 Summer Internship Program, to join their team. This individual will work out of the Richfield, Ohio office.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Learns various actuarial techniques and procedures.
- Becomes familiar with company operations, systems, and actuarial methodologies.
- Assist with updating data in established pricing and reserving analyses.
- Becomes familiar with basic statistical techniques.
- Improves upon basic knowledge in Excel and introduced to programming and other actuarial software.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science or a related field. Anticipated graduation date ranging from Fall/Winter 2025 to Spring 2026.
