Key duties and responsibilities
- Support team through active participation in team meetings
- Analyze seriatim and other data for use in preparing mortality and lapse studies
- Analyze mortality and lapse study results and assess their usefulness for pricing or other purposes
- Analyze product, underwriting, or other company information for any influences on mortality, historical and prospective
- Study the factors which influence insured mortality and their relative effect
- Handle other tasks, as needed, to accomplish the goals of the Experience Analysis team or other actuarial functions

Required experience & competencies
Experience:
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge and skills with the ability to problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of advanced Excel functions
- Strong computer skills including learning new software and Microsoft Office products
Required Education
- Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Passed at least one actuarial exam.
