The Business

Strategic Risk Consulting (SRC) is a global department housed within Risk and Broking. Our main responsibility is to advise non-insurance company clients (many of whom you might encounter via products or services you use daily) on how to optimize their risk transfer strategies. You will have a key role to play in helping us analyze and deliver useful actuarial studies to our clients, helping them make major real-world decisions to manage their risk. You may see a range of complex and fascinating risks to analyze. We have been focusing on Property & Casualty insurance lines including specially lines such as Cyber, Directors & Officer and Employment Practices Liability.

The Role
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts and internal client managers through effective communication and quality execution of projects
  • Perform modeling analysis for each client risk by applying standard actuarial techniques as well WTW proprietary tools
  • Manage client expectations on the timeliness as well as delivery of results in reports and presentations
  • Ensure quality of work by participating in our peer reviewing process
  • Maintain a comprehensive audit trail for all analytical work
  • Work with actuaries in the U.K. and U.S. in model development
