Position Summary
We seek a talented ASA or FSA to join the Actuarial Transformation Program Office. This key role will move between a variety of projects and gain exposure to multiple areas of the business, including valuation, pricing, financial forecasting, and future state actuarial data design across various products and business lines. We seek a talented individual who is dedicated, motivated, curious, and wants to learn and grow within the organization. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and the ability to understand the big picture as you reimagine and rebuild actuarial process and develop future state capabilities. The candidate’s experience will determine the position level.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with actuarial business partners across levels and roles to understand current processes, goals, and outputs, with an eye toward discovering opportunities to refine and redesign in order to enhance actuarial efficiency and value; strong consideration of effort versus impact.
- Applying actuarial skills and technology solutions to define and simplify analytical and reporting processes using Agile methodology to iteratively deliver value.
- Communicating and influencing with impact, ethics, efficiency, and a clear goal of developing collaborative and positive outcomes for stakeholders, including senior management.
- Meeting desired milestones and interim dates and effectively communicating progress, new ideas, hurdles (both expected and unexpected), and potential solutions with a goal toward successful achievement of desired outcomes by target dates.
- Working collaboratively with IT business partners to communicate and develop solutions that effectively streamline actuarial effort and process while delivering accurate, appropriate, and timely results.
- Defining actuarial requirements for future state data solutions.
- Developing new analytical models enabled by our future state toolkit.
- Successful study and completion of exams towards an FSA designation if not yet an FSA.
Qualifications Required:
- ASA or FSA
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with actuarial modeling software.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with insurance product profit and performance measures.
Qualifications Desired:
- Experience and/or proficiency with GGY-Axis.
- Experience and/or proficiency with Python (strongly preferred) or R\SAS\Spark.
- Experience with PowerBI and SQL.
- Experience working with IT.
- Mid to large company experience with an understanding of how an insurance actuarial community works.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
