How you'll contribute:
As an Actuarial Assistant and being a part of the Actuarial Development Program, you'll be responsible for supporting the Annuity Cash Flow testing team on end-to-end cash flow testing process for annuity products, including assumption table updates, Prophet model validation and execution, development of process/model controls, and analysis of results. In addition, this role will support quarterly ALM runs which are used to inform investment portfolio mix and duration targets.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Analyze annuity cash flow testing and ALM model results for attributions, sensitivities, and baseline results.
- Coordinate and validate the impact of assumption updates on modeled results.
- Support model development testing to ensure model updates are consistent with requirements.
- Develop creative solutions to complex problems - identify ways to streamline and simplify the annuity modeling process to increase capacity for value-added activities.
- Support ad-hoc requests for sensitivities, quarterly CFT runs, etc. used to inform key stakeholders.
- Perform single cell audits to ensure projection models are consistent with product features.
- Collaborate with other actuarial teams including pricing, valuation, and modeling to support alignment across use cases.
- Execute annuity cash flow testing and ALM model runs for attributions, baseline scenarios, and sensitivities and perform all process/data controls.
We're looking for people who have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Actuarial Science
- 1- 2+ Actuarial Exams required; Actuarial Experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work with others in a team environment

What you'll receive:
- Compensation - Candidates for this role can be hired at the Actuarial Assistant or Actuarial Associate level. Level and salary to be commensurate with exam progress.
- Assistant Level (1-3 Exams): Base salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
- Associate Level (4+ Exams): Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $93,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
