Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking an analyst to join our dynamic actuarial team. As part of our team, you will assist in the analysis of product rate levels and rating structures in several marketplaces around the country and contribute to solving marketplace challenges. You will also work with team members on analytical projects and contribute to the implementation of strategies and policies.
In addition, we're looking for you to:
- Utilize actuarial tools to build strategies in that respond to challenges and support corporate objectives.
- Work on innovative actuarial process improvements and use data and analytical tools add efficiencies to department functions.
- Collaborate with members of sales, underwriting, claims, IT, and Accounting teams on projects related to company goals.
We're also looking to bring your strengths to the team:
- A minimum of three years of experience in an actuarial capacity preferred.
- Demonstrated progress on introductory CAS exams
- Foundational knowledge of ratemaking principles and contemporary personal lines actuarial techniques and
- Desire to learn and solve business problems.
- Good verbal and written communication
- Introductory programming, data querying experience, and spreadsheet construction
- Bachelor's Degree in applied mathematics, statistics or related field preferred.
This posting is for the role of Associate Actuarial Analyst, Actuarial Analyst, Sr. Actuarial Analyst or Lead Actuarial Analyst. The specific role will reflect the candidate's specific qualifications.
The role is located in our Lincoln, RI office, and will be eligible for up to two work from home days per week.
