Job functions:
- Complete actuarial valuation work as prescribed under GASB 74/75, ASC 715, and ASC 965-10
- Calculate expected Incurred but Not Reported (IBNR) reserves and project health plan premium rates for self-insured groups
- Perform and analyze calculations for special healthcare modeling projects
- Communicate with client contacts on day-to-day tasks, data gathering, and delivery of results
- Develop consulting skills by attending client meetings
Pre-requisites:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 2+ exams passed (preferred) and working toward ASA designation
- 1+ years of experience in actuarial field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- PROVAL experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
