All internships will be fully remote.
How you'll contribute:
As a Financial Projections Intern, you'll be responsible for supporting the team to prepare forward-looking actuarial liability projections that form the basis of the corporate Financial Plan for Brighthouse Financial.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Offer support for producing projections for various product lines and use-cases.
- Run models and identify any shortcomings in model results.
- Develop Excel comparison tools to support variance analysis.
- Review and update existing documentation as needed.
We're looking for people who have:
- Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors studying mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or some other analytical field.
- Eagerness to learn with a positive attitude towards working with others.
- Actively studying for or taking pre-ASA level exams with the Society of Actuaries.
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
