Our professionals play an essential role in maintaining a healthy balance sheet at Corebridge. They deliver significant support for the overall enterprise, optimizing operations, funding and capital structure to honor our commitments to our stakeholders. They inform the decisions of Corebridge executives and comply with regulatory requirements, maintain financial discipline, transparency and controls, while providing timely and meaningful information.
As an actuary at Corebridge Financial, you will be challenged and encouraged to reach your greatest potential. Every day will bring new opportunities to stretch your analytical and problem-solving skills as you improve how we predict and mitigate risk. Our Financial Actuaries are on the frontlines, quantifying risk, pricing insurance and reserving losses for Corebridge Financials major regulated and rated insurance operating companies globally. Portfolio Analytics and Pricing Actuaries support Corebridge Financials businesses and are responsible for technical pricing, product development analytics and performance measurement. They collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Financial Management.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Desire to learn about and engage with various roles and responsibilities of a life and retirement insurance company
- Minimum grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale (unofficial transcript required upon application)
- Candidate for bachelor's or Master's degree to be received no later than June 2024
- Complete one or more Actuarial Exam(s) by March 2024
- Ability to work 40 hours per week; 2-3 days in the office
What we're looking for:
Corebridge seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry.
We also look for a diverse background of experience, culture and thought. Successful candidates typically have a global perspective and a record of successful teamwork.
Preferred:
- One or more years of internship experience
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, communication and interpersonal skills
- Overall understanding of fundamental finance and possess accounting acumen
- Organized, resourceful and capable of working with ambiguity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Have an attention to detail and accuracy
- Committed to learning new skills and open to work within different business and subject areas

Locations:
Corebridge Analyst positions are available in Jersey City, NJ, Houston, TX, and Woodland Hills, CA.
For applicants in California, Jersey City, New York City, and Colorado the salary range is $76,000 - $84,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
