As an Actuarial Analyst, your primary responsibility is to procure and organize data and perform advanced actuarial analysis to support pricing, reserving, and forecasting processes. This position will take the lead role in the loss ratio forecasting process, using research, analysis, collaboration, and judgment.

We'll count on you to:
- Provide support for Rate Reviews, Ratemaking, and Actuarial Indications by collecting, compiling and analyzing data on price, exposure, losses, policy, and claim counts pertaining to same.
- Provide regular estimates of adequate loss and expense reserves.
- Provide support for the company’s planning processes.
- Assist Underwriting in identifying segments with profitable growth potential; identify underperforming segments and propose corrective actions to improve profitability.
- Provide support for advanced analytics and modeling techniques.
- Provide support in enterprise risk management, including support for catastrophe management, economic capital modeling, internal rate of return studies, etc...
- Provide assistance in the development of rating methodologies concerning both existing and new company products.
- Provide tools and analysis in support of Underwriting’s pricing decisions with respect to large accounts
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, computer programming, business or any related field
- 1 – 3 years of Property/Casualty actuarial work
- Successful completion of at least four actuarial exams
- Excellent knowledge of spreadsheet software
